This policy explains what information Western Frontier Development Capital, LP ("WFDC", "we") collects through the WFDC Client Portal (portal.wfdcapital.com), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details: name, title, company, business address, email address and mobile phone number.
- Business and project information: answers on our onboarding and deal forms, and documents you upload (for example entity documents, financial statements, budgets, plats and term sheets).
- Security and usage records: sign-in times, IP address, browser type, and a log of actions taken in the portal.
How we use it
- To evaluate, structure and arrange financing for your projects, and to manage our engagement with you.
- To verify your identity when you sign in, including sending one-time sign-in codes by email and text message.
- To keep the portal secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Text messages (SMS)
When you add your mobile number to the portal, you agree to receive text messages from WFDC containing one-time sign-in codes, and a one-time link to your forms when you ask for one. We send one message each time you sign in, request a new code, or ask for a link. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Terms of Service.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver the messages on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your information. We share it only:
- With capital providers you approve: when we present your project for financing, we share the project information and documents needed, under confidentiality terms.
- With service providers who run the portal for us under contract and only for that purpose: cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), email and text delivery, electronic signature (DocuSign), and document reading software that helps us process uploaded files.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of WFDC, our clients or others.
How we protect it
Form answers and uploaded files are encrypted at rest. Uploads are scanned for viruses. Access requires multi-factor sign-in, sessions time out, and every view and change is logged. Access by WFDC staff is limited to people who need it for your engagement.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we work with you and afterwards as long as needed for legal, regulatory and record-keeping purposes, then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or correct your information, or ask what we hold about you, by contacting us below. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP; you will then need another sign-in method arranged with your WFDC contact.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
